How is it September 2016 already?
The kids are back in school, Bake Off is back on the telly and Random Acts of Bakeness is back for another year of randomly sending deserving people baked treats!
That's right, we're back and determined to make RAOB 2016 bigger than ever before.
If you don't know what Random Acts of Bakeness is, well, people from all over the UK nominate others that they think are deserving of a treat. It can be for ANY reason. Then the army of volunteer bakers all over the country step up to the plate and bake them something wonderful, packaging it up and posting it to them.
Nominations and volunteering is open until the end of October, so get your skate on before it closes!

Random Acts of Bakeness 2015
Hello there!
It's official, Random Acts of Bakeness is back for 2015!
It's been a while since Random Acts of Bakeness last happened, and who knows, you may be new to the whole thing... so let me cover the basics.
You can nominate someone that deserves something special to receive a delicious package of homebaking anonymously in the post. This can be for pretty much any reason; they've helped you through a rough time, they babysit the kids for free, they are always the first to help someone else. Anything.
You can also volunteer to be one of our wonderful bakers who will bake and post these packages of awesome.
It's awesome when we receive messages and photos from our bakers and our nominees, whatever we get we will share with everyone.
Ways to share the joy:

New Twitter for 2014
Hello there!
It's been a while hasn't it, I hope that you've all had a great 2014 so far and that you're ready for another round of Random Acts of Bakeness.
I'm busy working in the background to try to make this years bigger and better than last year. Part of this is giving Random Acts of Bakeness it's own identity on twitter, so it will no longer be in my personal twitter account.
If you are someone that likes to follow stuff on twitter then please follow @RandomActsBake
Apart from that, keep an eye out for the 2014 launch of Random Acts of Bakeness!

Nominate Someone Today
People of Britain!
Do you know someone that has been going through a rough time recently?
Maybe they've had a hard time at work, or they (or a family member) has been particularly ill recently. Or they're having some relationship problems... or they could just use a pick me up?
Why not nominate them to receive a Random Act of Bakeness and one of our fabulous volunteers will send them some baked love in the post!
OR...
Do you know someone that is AWESOME...
Someone that always helps you when you've been sick, you know that nice neighbour that always helps with your bins or that friend that has gone above and beyond the call of duty. The family that always helps out at the church or the guy that selflessly gives up his time every week to run the local youth club.
Let them know that Britain thinks that they are awesome and we'll get a volunteer to send them a baked thank you in the post... all by nominating them!
Nominations will be open until the 30th September (or until I receive 100 nominations... whichever comes first).

Random Acts of Bakeness
Welcome to Random Acts of Bakeness!
I am currently looking for up to 100 people who are deserving of receiving something special in the post. Who are these special people? I'm sure you know them...
Do you know someone who is dealing with health issues? Someone that has lost a loved one? Who has helped take your bins out every week? Who has been out of work for a while? Who has been stressed out with exams? Who has been a shoulder to cry on, or been the shoulder for you? Someone that works tirelessly to bring joy and happiness to everyone else, but forgets about themselves?
Basically, people who could do with a bit of joy, love or appreciation from the universe!
I'm also looking for people that would be willing to help the universe show the love by doing some baking.
If you could help in any way then you can find some more information on this site.
Thanks!
